then he said Behold
and i look, see
the glance
of light bend
in new eyes.
his smile reflects
mine, expands;
edges rush,
wall me in
protective warmth
and bright
beaming.
as arms widen over the water; Love
reaches me,
widens the small
hole of old
love's hurting.
though distance
gnaws edges,
sets familiar
aching,
i draw deep from
the well of
contentment.
a blue
soothe.
your beckon,
Love, fills
my whole.
